Pile O'Bones

Melanie Wilmink is a Masters student at the University of Regina, in the Interdisciplinary Visual Arts program. With a background as Programming Coordinator for the Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers and the $100 Film Festival, her research focuses on cinematic curation and the role of space as a key to audience engagement with moving image art. She received a BFA in Studio Practice from the University of Calgary and has worked with various arts groups in a variety of mediums over the past few years, with a specific, addictive, leaning towards handmade analogue formats like film, photography and printmaking.
