Poster of the Week: Brave

Pixar's newest up and comer Brave looks like a true return to form for the studio after the worst received and reviewed film in their impressive cannon last year, Cars 2 (although my son still loved it). I've heard much hoopla about this being the first Pixar princess movie and by the looks of this amazing poster, I'd say the time is right.

When you get right down to it, not a lot is actually happening in the poster, except the dotting of some blue orbs of light adding a mysterious edge, but the image itself is exciting and powerful and awesome.

Looking like it will be taking place on the hilly planes of Scotland or Ireland perhaps, and starring a character looking very Irish indeed, I think as the June release date approaches, this will turn out to be one of the most anticipated releases in Pixar's history.
