Poster of the week: Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2

Without knowing a single kernel about the plot of Cloudy 2, this poster is more than enough to incur heavy salivation: the loveable characters from the first film rolling into what looks like a lost world of living food. Possibly rogue comestibles from the downpour at the heart of Cloudy 1? Or a new science experiment gone awry once again?

Whatever the cause of these very unappetizing looking, living foodstuffs, September seems like too long a wait to sink my teeth into this one. And considering that first film was one of the most visually scrumptious and inventive animated movies to pop out the frying pan, expect a belly full of rich, visual goodness. 

Also features a cast that reads like the best of the last few years of SNL, along with some other very talented comedic performers. You just can't beat a smorgasbord of excellent voice talent! I'll stop with the food references now.
