We are excited to celebrate the announcement of our Late Shows Series with a FREE screening at the Ship & Anchor.

Join us at The Ship on Sunday, August 20 at 8 p.m. when we'll announce our 2017 Late Shows lineup and host a screening of FEAST, a disgustingly funny horror flick that will leave you chuckling and cringing all the same. We'll be serving up Big Rock beverages and free popcorn!

About the Late Shows Series
The Late Shows Series cater to lovers of nightfall and seekers of the decidedly darker, creepier side of our festival lineup. Features include selections from the realms of sci-fi, horror, thriller, and fantasy aimed at holding your attention and keeping your eyes open well into the waning hours of the evening.

ABOUT FEAST
Trapped inside a remote bar in the Nevada desert some unsuspecting patrons are faced with a savage attack from grotesque, blood thirsty monsters. Without a means of contacting the outside world for help the group attempts to fight off the monsters by any means possible. The result is a slime covered, blood splattered duel to the death. Human sacrifice, decapitation, monster fornication, and innumerable outlandish attempts at defence make this a cult favourite.

Despite slow uptake at the box office, FEAST garnered a cult following in the decade that followed. For those movie-goers on the hunt for a gory, perverse, comedy-laden horror flick that doesn’t take itself (or the sanctity of its characters) seriously, this screening will perfectly accompany a pint at the Ship and Anchor… without the worry of being mutilated by advancing monsters on 17th Ave.
