Those living with inflammatory bowel disease rarely get to see their stories told on the big screen... until now. In Exiting Hell Bar, documentarian Iain Chisholm chronicles his battle against Crohn's disease, and the strength he finds within himself in the process.
On October 23rd, the University of Calgary's IBD unit will host an intimate educational event and documentary screening of the film. The event will feature nutritional guidance by registered dietitian Rory Hornstein, as well as health insights from local specialists and faculty members from the University of Calgary's IBD unit.
