The Hotchkiss Brain Institute at the Cumming School of Medicine presents Science in the Cinema: Silver Linings Playbook.

Silver Linings Playbook, starring Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper, is a quirky romance which explores the ups and downs of mental illness, including bipolar disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder.

Following the movie, a discussion and Q&A session will be led by Dr. Scott Patten, a professor in the departments of Community Health Sciences and Psychiatry, and a member of the Hotchkiss Brain Institute and The Mathison Centre for Mental Health Research and Education; Dr. Patten will be joined by Mr. Kaj Korvela, Executive Director, OBAD – Organization for Bipolar Affective Disorders.
