Battle of the Films is a Calgary-based Film Competition, With an Unusual Twist!
The Twist?!
Film-goers: The movies you’ll be watching will be a secret until the screening! But get this: At the screening, you get back a $10 portion of your ticket price in coins, to vote for your favorite shorts at the screening. All the coins you put towards a short is given back to the filmmaker to support your local film scene.
Film-makers: At the screening, you’ll be sitting amongst an audience of local Calgarians eager to watch and support your art and access to audience-driven cash awards. What are you waiting for? Submit your short films to battleofthefilms.calgary@gmail.com now until Feb, 1st, 2018 for your chance to compete in the Battle of the Films.
Ticket Details:
Film-goers: Purchase General Admission Ticket (Don't worry, you get $10 of your ticket price back at the event to vote for your favorite films!)
