Best of Ottawa International Animation Festival 2017

The Best of Ottawa 2017 is a collection of jury awarded short films and fan favorites from the Ottawa International Animation Festival which took place in September 2017. This year’s highlights include the Academy Award-nominated Negative Space by Max Porter & Ru Kuwahata from France, Four Faces of the Moon, the Best Canadian Animation winner by Metis animator Amanda Strong, and a strangely touching glitch animation and winner of the Grand Prize, Ugly by German animator Nikita Diakur. A special addition to the program will be a screening of Skin for Skin by ACAD alumni and faculty Kevin D.A. Kurytnik & Carol Beecher, which was nominated for Best Canadian Animation.
