Work Nicer Coworking presents an exploration of YYC’s comics, film and music communities.

Partnering with The Fifth Reel, Inner Ocean Records and PanelOne Calgary, this evening will showcase the unique art movements making waves downtown.

Come enjoy some drinks, food and music and then settle in to watch a film.

Entry is by donation.

The Fifth Reel:
The Fifth Reel is a film club whose purpose is to provide the movie lovers of Calgary with a unique and memorable theatre going experience. Pairing cult movies with unconventional and unforgettable screening festivities, we provide audiences with a night out at the movies they just can’t get anywhere else.

Inner Ocean Records:
Inner Ocean Records is a platform and collective for emerging artists to release music. Based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, the label was conceptualized in 2012 as a vehicle for artists to have their music heard and build community. We’ve built the backbone of this label around the simple feeling of great sound; laid back, honest and forever chill.

PanelOne Calgary:
Panel One is a collective of comics creators, from all disciplines and all career stages, working together to put a spotlight on local, original work. When we first started Panel One, local meant Calgary. We thought we’d likely have some folks from Southern Alberta and Edmonton interested in joining, but it has grown to the point where local now means Canadian.
