2018 marks an important milestone as we celebrate our 13th Festival, transforming to be more sustainable, impactful, and connected to the community.

The 13th annual Marda Loop Justice Film Festival will feature socially conscious film screenings in three Calgary venues over six days in November. It includes feature and short films, with titles coming from countries around the world, and topics ranging from human rights and social justice to environmental issues.

In the upcoming 2018 festival, 19 socially conscious films will be screened at three Calgary venues over six days, November 13-18, 2018.

Since 2006 the Marda Loop Justice Film Festival has screened top documentary films highlighting social justice issues at no cost to viewers. Films selected focus on human rights, environmental and social justice issues, and provide citizens with an opportunity to learn about and discuss important social justice issues. Marda Loop Justice Film Festival is a non-profit society supported through viewer, small business and non-profit donations.
