Join the Arnie Charbonneau Cancer Institute on Wednesday, May 9 for a free screening of 'The Martian', as part of the Cumming School of Medicine's Science in the Cinema series. This will be the final SITC screening of the 2017-18 season.

Dr. Jennifer Cobb and Dr. Savraj Grewal will be on hand to lead a discussion and Q&A - To Mars and back: Surviving the cosmic rays | How cells repair DNA damage caused by radiation.

Dr. Cobb is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and Oncology and co-Lead for Research at the Arnie Charbonneau Cancer Institute;
Dr. Savraj Grewal is an Associate Professor in the department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and a member of the Arnie Charbonneau Cancer Institute.

Free admission & popcorn. Registration is not required but seating is limited and first-come/first-served. Doors open at 6pm.
