It's time again for Quickdraw's annual party in plaid, the 7th annual Log Driver's Waltz. Come by the Sunalta Community Association on Saturday, October 6 for a celebration of Canadian animation including classic films from the National Film Board, a special screening of works by the young filmmakers of our QuickKids classes and camps, along with a silent auction, hot chocolate and other seasonal goodies. Dress up in your finest flannel and come to the celebration that pleases animation fans completely.
Sorry, but we're just a bit excited about this one. Things are coming together fast for this year's Log Driver's Waltz. The bands are booked, the shorts are selected, and the silent auction's coming together—thanks to Shelf Life Books, Silk Road Spices, CJSW 90.9FM and Sled Island on that front, with more on the way.
If you don't know the Log Driver's Waltz, it's our annual celebration of Canadian animation, featuring screenings of NFB classics and films from our youth animators, plus animation workstations, live music, a silent auction and more, all for free at the Sunalta Community Hall on Saturday, October 6. So put on your finest flannel, and come down to the celebration that pleases animation fans completely.
