Femme Wave is Calgary's only feminist arts festival taking place from November 15 - 18, 2018 across various venues in downtown Calgary, Alberta. Our mission is to create a safe, positive and inclusive space for women and non-binary artists.
A festival wristband provides access to all festival programming including music, film, visual art, comedy and more. Note, some events are 18+ and subject to capacity, so a wristband may not guarantee entry if venues are full. About Femme Wave
Femme Wave is a feminist arts festival that takes place on Treaty 7 territory and the traditional territory of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Nakoda (Stoney), and Tsuut’ina, also known as Calgary, Alberta. Founded in 2015, it is a collective-run organization with board and committee members of diverse and varying backgrounds. The festival takes place annually across multiple inner-city venues and has enjoyed considerable growth since its inception.
