Shankgu Shelter is the story of how Zanskari farmers began to ski. Join filmmakers Ben Stephenson, Vera Neverkevich and Yana Kehrlein for this screening to find out what it takes to run a non-profit outdoor education school in the Himalaya. The film is followed by a Q&A and a local pub visit.

Shangku Shelter has won the following awards:
- Environmental Spirit award at Ottawa Adventure Film Festilval
- Best Feature award at Maine Outdoor Film Festival in Portland, Maine, USA
- Nominated for the Best Documentary at the Silk Road International Film Festival in Dublin, Ireland
