Join the McCaig Institute for Bone and Joint Health for a free screening of 'The Big Sick', the next movie in our Science in the Cinema series. The movie is a cross-cultural romantic comedy based on the real-life story of Kumail Nanjiani, whose then ex-girlfriend was placed in a medically induced coma while doctors tried to diagnose her illness.
After the movie, McCaig Institute researcher Dr. Marvin Fritzler, MD, PhD, will discuss the difficulties of diagnosing autoimmune and rheumatic illnesses.
