What can we say about Over the Garden Wall that hasn't already been said? Patrick McHale's miniseries is a modern masterpiece, a funny, moving, creepy, whimsical journey through classic Americana.

Over the Garden Wall is probably the closest North American animation has come to capturing the feel of a Miyazaki film, using the warmth and darkness of classic Americana and folklore to create a one-of-a-kind blend of comedy, adventure and horror. Costumes are strongly encouraged, and may even be rewarded.
