Fresh Frames Youth Animation Showcase 2019

It's no secret that we're incredibly proud of the films our QuickKids and teen members create every year. Funny, absurd, wildly creative and completely uninhibited, the art they create at our spring and summer animation camps, and our fall and winter courses, represent creativity at it's most pure.

On Friday, September 27, we're thrilled to be able to showcase their work at the inaugural Fresh Frames Youth Animation Showcase at the Patricia A. Whelan Performance Hall in Calgary's new Central Library (one of Time Magazine's 100 Best Places of 2019!). This free screening will include films by filmmakers aged 8-18, along with a selection of animated shorts from the National Film Board archives.
