Join CSIF on November 15th at cSPACE for a screening + Q&A showcasing the best of our members' work!

Juried by our Programming Committee, these films highlight the rad work being done within the Alberta independent filmmaking scene. Meet local filmmakers and hear from them in a post-screening discussion about process, technique, and storytelling.

Tickets are $10 General Admission and $5 for CSIF Members. Snacks and drinks (alcoholic and non) will be available for purchase.

An employee working at a rural motel after he discovers that a guest has passed away in one of the rooms. While he waits for an ambulance to arrive and life at the motel carries on as usual, our protagonist struggles to navigate his way through a world where indifference is abundant and human connection is scarce.

Nite Ride| Olivia Marie Golosky & Suitaakii | 12:03
The year; 2019. Femme resistance and empowerment is on the rise. When bodacious babes Kyra and Alice arrive outside of Owen's apartment for their weekly bike ride, they are only looking forward to a relaxing evening cruise. However, after collecting the last member of their cycling crew, June, the night swiftly transforms into a terror filled blood bath. Inspired by exploitation films of the 1970s and queer DIY aesthetic, Nite Ride is a campy, kick-ass Indigi-queer trip.
