Watching an international film festival come together is a stunning experience. The number of possible selections is enormous, the range vast. CIFF received over 1,100 submissions this year from Canada and abroad. Each one is carefully considered. And we don’t only wait for the films to come to us. Our programming team actively scours the world to bring the most compelling cinematic visions to Calgary.

In making our final selections for this year’s festival, we stuck determinedly to our mission: to entertain and engage audiences by curating the most innovative and compelling films, and creating remarkable festival experiences.

Headliners, Canadian Cinema, New American Cinema, World Cinema, Documentaries, Late Shows, Music on Screen, Galas, Shorts Packages and so much more are now available for your persual.

You'll also find freshly released individual tickets and Industry Passes alongside previously available EXP Passes, Ten-Packs and admission to Galas.

The Festival Box Office opens at Eau Claire Market September 8th-17th, 11am-730pm and September 19th-27th, 11am-10pm. Please note that the Festival Box Office will be closed September 18th for our Opening Gala.
