Calgary's First Film Directed by Calgary

Whatcha got, Calgary? is a short film anthology about Calgary directed by Calgary. 20 themes are up for grabs and together will tell the story of what this city means to us all.

The final film will incorporate all 20 short films into a larger script, and chosen directors will have a role written for them in the framing piece. The plot surrounds two clueless producers who do not understand what makes Calgary special - and it's up to the 20 directors to explain their theme and make their case.

Second showing tickets for Whatcha got, Calgary available now! The first showing sold out the Globe Cinema and turned away 60 people at the door. All proceeds will head to the Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter.
