The Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers' annual Summer mixer is coming up on August 6! Join fellow CSIFers to chat about filmmaking and enjoy a BBQ dinner and beer from Big Rock Brewery courtesy of CSIF & ACTRA Alberta

Before the BBQ we're excited to present two important information sessions for filmmakers:

5:00 pm: Tina Alford from ACTRA will speak about working with Professional Performers on your next production.
6:00 pm: Barbara Mah from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts will give a Grantwriting 101 talk. If you're preparing for the Sept 1 AFA Individual Artist Project Grant, this will be a huge help!
7:00 pm: BBQ!
