Just Saw The 1pm Imax 3d At Chinnook And It Was Awesome! Totally A Fun And Exciting Action Flick. Not Enough Buzz About This Film But It Really Was Worth The $$. Taylor Kitsch Held His Own As The Lead And The Visuals Especially The Aerial Battles Are Breath Taking. I'm Going To Go Again Sunday, It Was That Good. If You Liked Avatar You'll Like This One. -

For Anyone Who Has Read Edgar Rice Burroughs' John Carter Of Mars Books (Or At Least The First One, A Princess Of Mars), This Is A Wonderful Bringing To Life Of The Story, The Creatures And The Characters. Luminous And Compelling, Lynn Collins Absolutely Is The Dejah Thoris Painted By Burroughs' Description. The Tharks Are Perfect, As Is Woola. For Anyone Unfamiliar With The Books, Though, This Movie Will Leave You Visually Stimulated But Baffled. Additional Narration, Or A Star Wars Style Text Scroll Explaining What The H*Ll Is Going On, Would Have Helped A Lot. My Advice: Read The Book, Then See The Movie.
