The film explores how the actions and consequences of individual lives impact one another throughout the past, the present and the future. Action, mystery and romance weave dramatically through the story as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero and a single act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution in the distant future. Each member of the ensemble appears in multiple roles as the stories move through time.

A sorted tale of time travel, with many layed plots from different eras. All of the jumping around from plot to plot will have you on the edge of your seat, and spellbound ... um, or not. 3 hours of unadulterated boredom. Best part is the novelest throwing the loudmouth book critic off the balcony. The movie goes straight downhill after that. Don't even ask for this turkey on blu-ray or dvd under the tree. If calgarymovies.com would allow, I would give this a zero.

This movie is Shakespearian in its scope and the themes it deals with. It is going to be studied for years. Don't go to this movie trying to understand it (you will think about it later and it will start to make sense and make you want to see it again). Go to this movie to be witness to the lives of the people on the screen. Don't believe the naysayers! This is a truly great film.

This film displayed brilliance and artistry. In reference to the what I have read about this film, it would appear that many simply do not have the ability to image and be taken away. It is an artists interpretation of a complex story that should be felt. Being constantly bombarded with distortion and compressed thought is the way many movies are made today. I appreciate this film as hollywood took a chance that there is still intelligent life on this planet, and intelligence is not always measured by something we can quickly understand.

An awesome visual movie that is cerebral and gripping. For those who want a simple story line with a satisfying conclusion stay away. For those who want to be stimulated and held spellbound this is a goodie. I think it is the best movie I have seen in a good many years. Strong performances, great visuals, superb editing, this movie grips you from the get go and doesn't let go. Highly recommended.
