Walt Disney Pictures
for intense sequences of war violence
Set against a sweeping canvas of rural England and Europe during the First World War, "War Horse" begins with the remarkable friendship between a horse named Joey and a young man called Albert, who tames and trains him. When they are forcefully parted, the film follows the extraordinary journey of the horse as he moves through the war, changing and inspiring the lives of all those he meets-British cavalry, German soldiers, and a French farmer and his granddaughter-before the story reaches its emotional climax in the heart of No Man's Land.

War Horse is the best movie we have seen in years. We sat riveted to screen the whole time. The action and suspense carried right through the whole movie, and the panoramic views of the scenery at the beginning made you feel like you were actually right there. Some aspects of Joey's insight and actions were beyond belief, but in all the movie was a very realistic presentation of WWI. Being a horse lover, my heart went out to the pain and suffering that the horses, as well as the men, endured during the war. We highly recommend seeing this great movie!!
