Despite just two albums to her name Amy Winehouse is one of the biggest music icons in British history. With a voice oft described as a combination of Billy Holiday, Dinah Washington and Sarah Vaughan, Amy Winehouse was a pop star with soul; a once in two generational musical talent whose appeal crossed cultural and demographic boundaries. But while her music made her a star, her chaotic personal life stole headlines.

When Amy made it big and the only song I heard at first like many was her hit "Rehab". I didn't think much of the song and therefore I was not interested. Just as of recent, I saw a video of her and decided to listen to her. Well her look, I fell in love with right away. I begged for more. I just went to the movie. Yes full grown man by himself, went to see the Amy movie. A movie you could easily see at home (no special effects) but heck, I had to see her on big screen. Great movie, tragic story, but that's the life of sex, drugs and Jazz, lol. What a loss and what a talent. If you don't see the movie in the theatre, make time to see it some how some way. This will not be a 2 hours waste of your time. It might make you respect the life of a famous person who just wanted to make great music and she was different!
