We are proud to present this year’s screening program for PARTICLE + WAVE that features filmmakers from around the world that experiment with narratives, mediums and personal perspectives. Each work defies convention and are innovative and unique in the way they tell a story and/or how the work was created. Having received over 200 submissions this year, we chose ten short films that explores the human connection through visual poetry, archive footage, personal memories and a sex hotline.

PARTICLE + WAVE Media Arts Festival

The 5th PARTICLE + WAVE Media Arts Festival 2019 from January 31 - February 2, 2019, is a 3-day event that will celebrate the critical innovation and creativity present in the media arts community. This festival will showcase an art form that by it’s very nature, is constantly evolving and growing with the integration of ever-changing technological processes.
