The Shadow of Gold is a global investigation of the ultimate talisman of wealth, beauty and power.

Filmed in Canada, the U.S., U.K., Dubai, China, Peru and the DRC, The Shadow of Gold is an incisive global investigation of the gold trade, exposing its impact on human lives, the economy and the planet. It examines Canada's role in the global market supply chain and what Canadians can do to reduce the global impact of gold mining.

The 80-minute film will be followed by a Q&A with award-winning Canadian filmmaker Robert Lang and MiningWatch Canada's Jamie Kneen.
