Sex trafficking is a $150 billion dollar industry. Kids in Calgary are being groomed for sex trafficking and awareness is the best way to fight it. Start the conversation about sex trafficking in our own city by attending this TRAFFICKED film screening with introduction and Q&A by the film's producer: Conroy Kanter.
TRAFFICKED, starring Ashley Judd, Elisabeth Rohm, Sean Patrick Flanery, Madison Wolfe and Patrick Duffy is endorsed by the United Nations, and shares the story of three young girls from the U.S., Nigeria and India who are trafficked to the same brothel in Texas and their dramatic escape.
Net proceeds from this evening will go to RESET, which provides client driven, long-term, comprehensive, wraparound programming and support for women (age 16 and above) who have experienced sexual exploitation and/or sex trafficking.
