Join us for a special screening of the highly acclaimed, award winning documentary UNDER OUR SKIN, followed by a screening of the much anticipated sequel EMERGENCE.

Lyme disease is a bacterial illness spread to humans by ticks. Ticks carrying the Lyme disease bacterium have been found across Canada, and within Alberta's provincial borders. In a 2013 surveillance study by Alberta Health, 20 % of collected blacklegged ticks were found to be infected with the Lyme bacteria, Borrelia burgdorferi. Lack of recognition of the existence of ticks & Lyme in Alberta can compromise the ability of Albertans to obtain a timely diagnosis and treatment for the disease.
