The film tells the story of brilliant con man Irving Rosenfeld, who along with his equally cunning and seductive British partner Sydney Prosser is forced to work for a wild FBI agent Richie DiMaso. DiMaso pushes them into a world of Jersey powerbrokers and mafia that's as dangerous as it is enchanting. Jeremy Renner is Carmine Polito, the passionate, volatile, New Jersey political operator caught between the con-artists and Feds. Irving's unpredictable wife Rosalyn could be the one to pull the thread that brings the entire world crashing down.

More American trash from the Hollywood trash factory. Don't waste your money on this flick. You have to have more story content than Amy Adams boobs and Christian Bale's comb-over. Seriously if you can't write decent dialogue then use voice-over. If you can't write decent voice-over describe exactly what we see on the screen. Come on! Is this a subtle technique for the visually impaired. The dialogue coming out of these poor actors mouths is amateurish at best. It's painful to hear them try to make it sound natural. I walked out of this movie and got a refund. You've been warned! I loved Amy in Junebug. The dialogue flowed like it was written just for her. This ain't no Junebug!
